The power of big money and sneaky political maneuvering
Elder Bush faces the prospect of having to watch his favorite fortune son fail at his attempt to claim yet another Bush presidency – all in the twilight of Bush 41’s life – who is now 91 and in failing health.
After reports say he has angrily watched the primary season include routine jabs at the expense of his son Jeb, former president George H.W. Bush is calling to arms his vast network of patrons and wealthy donors to get his kid out of trouble, and force his tanking campaign to the top with the only way they know – the power of big money and sneaky political maneuvering. The Houston Chroniclereports:
Even at age 91, former President George H.W. Bush remains hooked on politics and the upcoming presidential election. He follows the coverage on Fox News, champions the campaign of GOP candidate and son Jeb Bush and – like many on the left and right – he remains absolutely baffled by Donald Trump’s success.

If nothing else, getting all those super rich people to spend their money is good for the economy and keeps people employed.
I guess he will have to do something a rich kid has never had to do before. Sell himself and actually compete for a job! It's refreshing to see that money won't buy him the election! He is a poor debater and is totally out of touch with what is going on with the voters. I don't like his views on immigration, trade or the fact he wants to us the social security retirement age so that most of us will be dead before we will be eligible for benefits!!!!
What an acehole!!!!!! His condescending attitude doesn't help much either!
Glad to see he is way down in the polls! I totally dislike the Bush family in general. Don't need any more dynasty's!
8:33-Agreed,but where they are willing to spend their money appears to be a problem, because in order to stay rich they need a decent return on their investments. In my day we had starter jobs, where people began their lives with the intention of working their way up the ladder. Now everyone of all ages and education levels seem to occupy the starter jobs and remain there for years and years. Then after a while they complain about not making enough money and want a significant raise. That causes a reduction in the hiring of kids just out of high school. The days of the starter jobs are officially over.Everything that was brought up last night regarding college loan relief was bull crap.
Jeb is more and more the slow brother in the family.
Hey Jeb. Maybe it's time do do those other things.
Anyone who is "absolutely baffled by Donald Trump’s success" is a clueless idiot, and needs not be our leader!
Jeb needs to wear a helmet on stage so we don't mistake him for a candidate.
I think that it would be a reasonable mandate for anyone that HOLDS a political office (Gov., Senator, Congress, ect.) to have to give up that position in order to run for president. That would stop almost all of the people, that have no chance of winning, from running in the first place. As it now stands, they have nothing to lose. They simply go back to their old jobs which by the way are NOT being done by anyone even though they get paid while they run. Wow! Have they got it good or what!
