1. You’ve seen it thousands of times on Facebook and other social media outlets, there is even a song on the radio about it! Selfies have become a huge trend in social media and psychiatrists and mental health workers are linking them to mental health conditions related to narcissism and a person’s obsession with their looks.
According to psychiatrist Dr David Veal: Two out of three of all the patients who come to see me with Body Dysmorphic Disorder since the rise of camera phones have a compulsion to repeatedly take and post selfies on social media sites.
Cognitive behavioural therapy is used to help a patient to recognize the reasons for his or her compulsive behaviour and then to learn how to moderate it. he told the Sunday Mirror.

Shocker.
Anyone over college age that is taking and posting selfies is weird. Total narcissism.
Obama loves his Selfies and his Selfie Stick
It's good information on what women to avoid.
A shocker is right.I have seen profiles of girls as young as 13 taking questionable selfies with the duck lips pout, tongue out, etc, and some of them list their cellphone number right on the pics with notes like "Strangers welcome".Excuse me? If any of mine did that, they would not get that phone or tablet back til they were 18 and it was all outdated. And while we are at it,whats with giving expensive iPhones to kids as young as 4? Really?
Exhibitionists and narcissists take selfies all the time.
