Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley wants more opportunities to debate his fellow Democratic presidential candidates, and he’s not being shy about saying so.
A month before the first Democratic primary debate, O’Malley called the party limiting the number of debates to six “party malpractice.”
Appearing on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” O’Malley told the audience, “It is party malpractice for the Democratic Party not to be holding our own debates.”

He has a point. Both parties do this and they work together to limit the exposure of any independent candidates.
