Biggest scam ever. They charge a transmission fee for electricity that's as much as the actual cost of electric use. So they try and get you to conserve electricity so you end up paying the transmission fee for as little energy as possible.
Why pay 100 dollars to transmit 50 dollars in electricity? Since you are paying that ridiculous fee anyway you might as well burn as much energy as you can.
