Better get back inside before dark!
Why doesn't Salisbury have it downtown? Afraid somebody might get shot or stabbed? In fact have it on Church street or Lake street. It won't happen there for fear of violence. Get the big picture.
Why doesn't Princess Anne have their night out in the Princess Anne Town Park? The Garland Hayward Youth Center is in a black neighborhood, built for the black community. I have been to two functions at the Youth Center. I was far outnumbered and felt out of place. I do not think I am racist but I think the town park, such as Salisbury or Snow Hill or Pocomoke is doing,, is a more suitable place for all races to come together.
Fairy May is having his own on the Plaza to pray for the victim at the hotel. The plaza will be empty, and so will the official one at the Park.
I ain't stupid enough to go out at night. I may drive by the 6pm hour to see if anyone showed at "prime time".

You may not be racist to want more of your own kind around you but what a lesson in how it always felt to be black in our white world in the past and continues to feel today in many cases.
There is a lot that needs to be done yet to bring all Americans together.
Being black in a white world just takes being civilized and not too noisy. Being white in a black world means being armed or being a victim.
