Speed Enforcement Initiative
Speed Enforcement Initiative! Deputies have been busy slowing folks down in Girdletree, Bishopville and West Ocean City areas. Deputies will continue enforcing speed limits in the following locations the next several days. Cathell Road in Ocean Pines. Stockton Road near the Head Start School, and St. Martins Neck Road in Bishopville. The speed limits in most of these locations is 40 mph. We wish to remind folks that the speed limit in Stockton reduces to 25 mph after passing the school. Please pay attention to the speed limit signs. Sheriff Mason receives calls from residents in numerous communities and his focus is your safety of your family and friends. Deputies will be on the lookout for aggressive driving and seatbelt and cell phone violations. If you have a specific location you would like enforcement done, please send us a message or post it here. Our speed trailer has been located just south of Stockton for the past two weeks on Route 12 and will be moved around as needed.

Yep, glad I slowed down in Girdletree on Saturday night. Two deputies there running radar.
Why not focus on the crime areas? Actually patrolling? Smdh. Let's make money of the 38 people who live in town instead.
