i have to say, i think the boardwalk was a better place without the "performers". i also would say it has absolutely nothing to do with free speech. dressing up in a smelly, ratty costume and asking for money for posing for a picture is not much of a "performance"

They need to get a real job, and quit panhandling for money in a resort to pay for their summer vacation. Remember the Pole Dancer? "Performing" is just their way of trying to "justify" their begging for money.
