It's sad that she had to endure what Salisbury's power elite and main stream media did to her daughter.
Debbie Campbell you were the best in office wish we still had you. Sorry on your mother's passing. The one thing I remember most about your terms in office was the quote" no matter how many codes you have on the books , if you don't enforce them they serve no purpose".

Her daughter tried to save Salisbury, but with the help of the Daily Times she was thwarted first by Barrie and the Dream Team (Dunn Comegys and Cathcart) and later by Mr. Day who wants to be the next mayor.

So Sorry for you loss Debbie. As others have mentioned you were the best leader Salisbury may have ever had. Now we are stuck with that little boy with jacked up teeth and no experience. That and the loss of our freedom of speech with the loss of our Confederate Flag, just makes me want to pack my family up and move to Canada.

If I am not mistaken she was also involved in a part of Salisbury's notorious past. I think it was her store that was robbed by the man than ended up murdering Sheriff Graham and the "turnkey" at the Wicomico County Jail in 1968. (Bartholemew). Maybe some one old like me can confirm but I swear it was the same store. Sorry she had to go through that.
Debbie Campbell is a classy, respected lady. I am sure she received her sophistication and class from her mother and her family. The city of Salisbury doesn't realize what they lost now that Debbie is no longer on the council. She brought credabilty to the office and rational thought. I pray that GOD comforts her and her family.
I hope Debbie runs again since Jake Day is going to run for mayor.
