I could careless if he were "taught racism at home." It's someone's right to be a racist if they so want to be. This is America. It is not someone's right to harm another person. Let him rant and rave racial slurs all day long for all we should care but don't invade or touch someone's space and esp do not harm another person.
I have more of a problem of the father giving a drug abuser a firearm.

Notice that even if they are in the country, they will never attack anything with importance, because history shows they don't because it is made up to make you scared... And even if they are here, and real, then you would think the govt would close the boarder but NO instead they leave it open as if they WANT isis here... That is how you know they are all in on it together... Either it is real and they let them come in for a grander plan, or it is made up to keep you scared and to justify why they need military on the streets, and for cops to have military gear and for the cops to abuse you...
Also, have you eve noticed, when someone does and attack, it is ALWAYS ONLY 1 or 2 PEOPLE who never accomplish anything?? You would think someone as organized and trained as isis is, they would know that 1 or 2 people will not accomplish anything when you have 30+ cops show up with guns on the scene...

I can give somewhat a pass on the parents who may have not been aware of his racist tenancies, but I would hope all parents even those of adult children know their arrest history and guns and drugs never mix. Not only are most gun related crimes due to drugs, but the use of drugs makes people irrational and does cause substance induced psychosis'.
This is the why the recent "diagnosis" epidemic of bi polar. Just about everyone "diagnosed" with bi polar anymore is a substance abuser. Instead of calling it what it is anymore it's more politically correct and more "sensitive" to say the person is bi polar.

You think guns are unrestricted? Go try to buy a handgun, apply for a carry permit, and then say there isn't "reasonable restrictions".
I read that churches and certain other places in Charleston are gun free zones. This nut jobs always seem to look for those areas.
He deliberately chose a church because he knew they were less likely to be packing heat. He was looking for helpless victims, not ones who might be able to fight back.
He knew the (mostly older, and female) church members were unlikely to be the "ones who rape our women" or a bunch of predatory black criminals. For him to say "you have to go" is ludicrous. They may have represented, to him, the evil black subculture that is destroying our country from within, but he had to know he wasn't aiming his weapon at the rapists and degenerates. But he pulled the trigger on them anyway, like a coward.
If he truly wanted to "fight back" against the thugs, he would have gone to any inner city street corner, where you could empty a magazine and never hit an innocent man. But he knew he'd likely get his own ass shot before he could do much damage.
So his rationale that he was tired of black criminality is kind of hollow. If he'd actually done that instead, and taken out a couple career criminals with stolen guns in their pockets, before being shot himself, well...I wouldn't feel bad about that, especially if it saved the cost of a trial.
All he's done, is make things worse for all of us.
His racism began following the unfair treatment of George Zimmerman in the Travonn Martin case. He then Googled black on white crime and it was the result of that search that made him a racist.
