Delaware police probe blocked D.C. bike lane video

WASHINGTON (AP) — Delaware State Police are investigating after a video posted online showed a trooper with an SUV parked in a Washington bike lane, telling a cyclist to move on.

Spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said in a statement Wednesday that the agency is aware of the video of a division member and an internal investigation will determine if there was any policy violation.

Gov. Jack Markell, an avid cyclist, attended an event in northwest Washington on Tuesday and police say a trooper was with him.

They are above the law , when they want to be!

Threatening the cyclist by implying he would use his gun and/or badge if the cyclist simply hung around is an abuse of power. He needs to be reprimanded for his misconduct as there are better ways to do his job!

Somebody with an overblown sense of importance was doing some shopping.

All of these bodyguards are state police and know the importance of keeping vehicle lanes clear.

I love it!!!
Nothing like a "representative", along with his "I can kill you for saying the wrong thing" armed agent, telling us, in no uncertain terms, that the law doesn't apply to either one of them.
Where, oh where is the idiot who disputed the "two sets of laws" thing???
Maybe he didn't hear this report because his head is so far up his ace he can't hear very well now. Or maybe he's busy eating so much of their BS he can't speak right now. Or maybe his knees hurt so badly he doesn't want to interrupt his current endeavor to speak (you know what I'm saying, right?).
TWO SETS OF LAWS.
One for the serfs, minions, and slaves.
One for the ruling class.
And you'd live longer if you'd just shut up and know your place.
Keep cheering.
