Well, that tears it… no more Girl Scout cookies. And I love those cookies. We’ll support the American Heritage Girls here locally instead. GSA has lurched so far to the left that their membership has plummeted by about one million girls since 2003 – about 27% of their membership has left over this and I don’t blame them in the least. If I had a small daughter again, there is no way I would allow her anywhere near the homosexual agenda-driven, abortion supporting, cross-dressing enabling organization of the Girl Scouts of America. They have embraced perversion in the name of diversity. The latest move is mind blowingly in the ultra-conservative state of Utah. Allowing little boys to pretend they are girls is sick and twisted. I contend it is a form of child abuse. This is yet another slap in the face to Christians and like so many others, I’ve had enough of it.

Men can also now be Girl Scout leaders, and go camping with the teens. Check it out, this is no joke.
I don't support any of these two groups anymore because of this foolishness. Hopefully, parents will look at the alternatives and have their children participate in those groups.
I don't know why I even read the comments on most of these posts anymore; the level of narrow-minded bigotry exhibited here saddens me. This article is so ridiculously one-sided and not even remotely accurate; the attrition from Scouting has very little to do with this particular issue (this decision was just made, yet they attribute over 1/4 of the attrition to this particular issue... okay). Life-long Scout (Gold Awardee, etc) from a family of Scouters (both Boy and Girl) and I am extremely proud to continue to support the organization. I want my children to be loving to those who are not exactly as they are - this Christian applauds the GSUSA's stance on this issue.
Which should accept a mis-gendered child? The Boy Scouts, who don't accept gay boys? Or the Girl Scouts?
We've all known kids who were "obviously queer" even at a young age. As much as kids crave to fit in with their peers, there is no way a child would make a "choice" to subject themselves to the ridicule and exclusion of being "different". It isn't a choice, it's just the way some people are made, and it can't be truly changed.
The presence of a child who feels, acts, behaves, thinks, and probably looks like a little girl, isn't going to turn your precious little poopkins into a bull dyke, not unless she was already leaning in that direction.
What kind of intolerant, mean-spirited hypocrite would be unkind to a child who already has plenty of self-loathing and torment in their lives?
As if it were their own fault, like a birth defect?
People whose personal sense of moral right and wrong is so lacking, so inadequate, that they must rely on someone else's interpretation of a single book, as a substitute for a real conscience.
