Another Local Vehicle Accident Involving A State Trooper

It's been reported that a Maryland State Trooper was struck from behind on Tilghman Road and Rt. 50 moments ago.

This would be the 5th accident in the past week.

To be fair, it seems the others were the fault of the officer and this seems to not be.

That's why they're called 'accidents'

Again. Thank God it wasn't one of our deputies. If he were hurt we the citizens would be paying. Not just his workers compensation. They get full pay when hurt. 2/3 from compensation claims and the rest from our tax money. Cops are better then us you see.

12:00 I have no problem with that. The man risks his life to protect us, then he and his family should be looked after, provided of course the claims are valid. Hell we take care of politicians for life and what do they do for us? focus on the real issues!

Risk their lives to protect themselves. How do they protect us when they show up after a crimes been committed? Any other time a cop shows up and a perp is on scene , the cops beat or kill somebody. Most criminals are caught after the crime had happened by luck of traffic stops or unconstitutional stops. And with all this military equipment these officers are acquiring its only a matter of time before you become a casualty. But I'm sure you'll just follow the herd and save yourself.
