Staten Island cops allegedly get points for each arrest

Staten Island cops are being forced to participate in a new NYPD quota game in which they get points for each arrest they make, it was revealed Tuesday.

But if they don’t make an arrest in a certain time period, they stand to lose more than the game, critics claim.

A dry-erase board posted inside the Anti-Crime Unit office in the 122nd Precinct stationhouse in New Dorp shows that anti-crime cops are given one point for every misdemeanor arrest they make and 1.5 points for every felony arrest.

I thought that was always how it worked, especially with traffic tickets. Profit margin and so on.

LOL! Now, 'we the people' are "points" to be scored in some game called "Cop of the Year".
How many BS arrests were, and still are, being made for the "points". At least they admit that it's NOT your "safety" that concerns them, its the points they get.....
Not doing anything wrong? Sorry, you brainwashed dumbace, YOU don't get to decide that. The point chasing police do....
Keep cheering.

How cool!

Stats for the Stasi!

These numbers used to be kept in the sergeant's notebook for evaluation, not on a chalkboard for open competition. Do they give them little decals for each bust for their riot helmets?

It won't be long and the gangs will set up a point system for wounding or killing a cop.And I'll be the first one to say what goes around comes around.
