The victim's grandmother's facebook postings are heartbreaking.
I just hope the mayor, council president, the family's council representative and the police chief have paid the family a visit.
One thing is for certain. If Joe Albero were mayor this would have happened because Joe Albero is smart enough to have had me as an adviser and I would have made sure this family were getting the reassurance they need personally from the top rung of city officials.

Teach your children to swim, or at least tread water.

And don’t commit armed-robbery, assault, etc…

Right 3:55 and that is why after offering condolences and assurances to the victim's family that LE is doing everything within their power to solve this, the mayor and his cronies need to immediately start neighborhood networking through meetings and other public events to get it through the parents and the kids heads that living a high risk lifestyle always turns out bad. While this is going on the PD needs to crack down on all drug sales and use and the SA needs to let everyone know that Salisbury is the last place you want to be if you are a drug user or dealer.
