wonderful. They were taken from color slides found at the Library of Congress, and are dated between 1939-1943. The pictures are so clear and the color is so vibrant, it looks as though they were taken yesterday.

I'm just old enough to remember those days.I remember as a kid we,my older brothers and me,would leave the house on a saturday morning and not get back home till supper time.My parents never got upset about that.Today they want to put parents in jail for that,they call it child abuse.
Life is still like this in most of the world. It is just in the "developed" countries that we live like crabs in a bucket.
Where are all the fat people???
