Mayor Jim Ireton is NOT a supporter of "FREE SPEECH" unless WE only agree with his views.
Mayor Jim Ireton absolutely refuses to allow Salisbury News the ability to be provided with ANY press releases. He refuses to allow us AN invitation to Press Conferences.
Now, if I was gay, if I kissed his A$$ and published his Press Releases as if they were truthful, he'd allow us to participate. Remember his quote to me years ago, "If you play nice we'll send you information".
However, Mayor Jim Ireton's above statement is a flat out lie, just like his false support of African Americans. "I ain't letting Tawanda and her 5 children live in a river front condo".
He's a typical Liberal politician who will LIE at any opportunity to make himself look better.

#1 - Behind the scenes, Ireton organized and called for the protest, to get his name in the news.
#2 - About 15 people attended and took a nap on the sidewalk for a few minutes and left.
