I haven't read this story because I know exactly who you are talking about. State Senate Majority Leader Catherine Pugh and Congressman Elijah Cummings are and embarrassment to the human race. They are an embarrassment to good black people. They are an embarrassment to Baltimore City. They are an embarrassment to the State of Maryland. They are rude and made uneducated comments.
This is exactly why this country needs to stop electing Democrats. They are THUGS, yes THUGS. She and Elijah Cummings are racist cop haters and they should both resign from office. All of the Mayor and Council members that I saw speak on Fox News should resign from the city. They are the reason Baltimore burned that night. State Senate President Mike Miller should take her position away from her because of conduct unbecoming of a Maryland State Senator. No apologies should be accepted, they need to resign.

Baltimore's been on a downward spiral for forever. The 68's riots only hastened the decline.
The only thing that is going to change Baltimore is a complete change in the mindset of those who live there. They are completely dependent on the government and others for several generations now. Only they can stop the crime and the poverty.
Protesting and rioting gets nothing as witnesses by the 68 riots. Parts of the city never rebuilt and the crime and the poverty sky rocketed.
They have these prayer marches and vigils to stop the violence as if divine intervention is going to stop the violence.
The only reason there aren't 1000+ murders there a year is due to the advanced life saving results of the hospitals.
