Always starts with a idiot running from the Kops.

How weird is it we are missing the critical part of the video??? Remember the plan is too divide, confuse, enslave us all!

Big deal he ran. The cop knew the guys name. Not a reason to gun him down. Let us remember the Constitution along with the Bill of Rights (5th amendment due process) is the highest law of the land in the USA. Cops are bound by the Constitution and when they break the law they pay the penalty.

The WITNESS that took the cell video said they where both on the ground in a struggle which is not on the video as the cell witnessed started video taping after the fact so once again the cop was assaulted and the perp tazed then the cop shot but ONCE again we will wait for a trial and the cop will walk as he should.

740-After running initially, he had an altercation with the cop, and then broke free and ran again. At some point, the mf'er deserved to be shot.

812 yep.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but once you run, fight the cop on the ground, go for the cops tazer which he probably thought was his gun then run again, you become a FELON and as much as it doesn't look right but the cop is JUSTIFIED in shooting you even in the BACK because you have just became a FELON.

Piss poor cop who can not subdue an unarmed 50+ yr old guy. No matter, killing him was unjustified.
He should not be a cop if he can not defend himself against an unarmed middle aged idiot who can barely run himself.
I don't care if they did get into a wrangling over the taser, which, in fact, the probes were still embedded in the old guy.
The cop was a lazy POS who did not feel like breaking a sweat and he also tampered with the evidence by picking up the taser, moving it and dropping it next to the dead guys body.
That alone proves he KNEW he did wrong.

8:22 You are absolutely wrong. Due process does not mean a cop can be judge, jury and executioner. A person does not become a FELON until he has been found guilty of a felony in a Court of Law. Glad you weren't around in 1776. We would still be an English colony.

848-No matter? That doesn't add up, sympathizer.

Glad to see so many Nazis alive and well in the USA

Is a third brake light out even a legit cause for a stop? You only need two don't you?

The kop is no longer a cop, thank goodness. So what you seem to be saying is, if someone were to assault me and run away, I can shoot him in the back and kill him and I should walk?

Frankly, I don't see that happening. I would be in prison for murder, just like where this kop is now.

And if we didn't have this video, this pos kop probably would walk. But this kop lied, planted evidence, and was fired by his own chief. So I will believe the people there instead of you.

On the same day this kop was arrested, another SC kop, 150 miles away, was also arrested for a similar situation. And thankfully it was caught on video also.

THAT family got a one million dollar settlement and THAT kop faces at least 10 years.

The rest of the states in this country should follow SC lead and start arresting and holding accountable all these bad kops we read about on a daily basis.

don't let this fall off your blog Joe, keep it front and center and keep reminding people of what is going on.

What you didn't see was the fight that occurred just prior to the shooting. How convenient that the black man with the phone just conveniently left out that part and the have only the part of the shooting.

That's my point and I hope he does. I hope he also sues for his job back. I hope he sues for damages. I hope he sues the Chief and Mayor for illegally firing him. I hope he sues his first attorney for Malpractice.

Hey 1:46+ AM.. just get off shift or is it that boring of a night you spent it surfin instead of doing your job?

They have him on video picking up the taser and dropping it by the victims body.

So your asinine comment that "nothing has been proven yet" is simply and totally idiotic. Just another lying cop. I bet you subscribe to that newsletter too.

Anonymous said...

You folks are funny. Think about it this way. To prove a point, lets look at a more extreme case. Man walks in your yard, slugs you and your mrs. in the face knocking you both down, then turns and runs. If you get up and shoot him in the back, guess who's going to face the more severe charges. Clue; it won't be the guy with holes in his back.

I don't know the laws in SC but I know that having a "third tail light out" is a non offence, there is no laws that say you have ot have 3 lights let alone the light in the window working... It is mandatory that the to right and left one work and light up...

The so called "third light" is no reason to pull you over...it is not a mandatory light... shit most older cars don't even have them...

Oh, you're psychic now? Regardless, what would that prove? A lying kop, a corrupt and ambitious D.A., and a paid off judge can get anyone in prison. People are released every day from being wrongly imprisoned.

And now, finally, it's YOUR TURN.

It's in every state of this country. Oh, it's local alright.

"I don't know the laws in SC but I know that having a "third tail light out" is a non offence..."

...so what you're saying is, you don't know the laws in SC. Got it.

As for the comments he became a fleeing felon. Idiot we the police do not adjudicate suspects on scene. That is for the legal system. In no way did this shooting fit the fleeing felon laws.

It is obvious this suspect is just another dirt bag. The msn keep saying "This father of four killed by police" They do not say he does not see his children nor has he paid his child support.

The man is a know drug dealer in his community. However shooting a man in his back and planting evidence is criminal. I do not know why or how this cop became so dirty, but he is going to pay. He made a split second decision that will now cost him his freedom.

It is time for good cops to stop defending the actions of bad cops.

people in SC don't know all the laws in SC. do you have ANY valid points or you just going to keep trolling?

it's not obvious to me. where did you see this little update? not that it would change anything. but I understand your NEED to try and justify these things.

No matter how unlikely that is going to be.

1. Scott may have fled police because he owed money for child support. A Charleston County sheriff’s official said Scott was wanted on a Family Court warrant, Heavy.com reports. “He had back child support and didn’t want to go to jail,” Chris Stewart, an attorney for the Scott family, said Tuesday. In South Carolina, someone who owes child support can be jailed until the money is repaid, according to The Associated Press.

2. He had been arrested about 10 times, but mostly for nonviolent offenses. According to the Post and Courier, Scott faced one violent charge in his lifetime: He was accused of assault and battery in 1987. The other charges stemmed from owed child support and contempt of court. “He doesn’t have some type of big violent past or arrest record,” Stewart said.

3. The father of four was engaged. “He was the most outgoing out of all of us,” Scott’s brother, Anthony, said Tuesday. “He was well-known in the community.” Anthony, who said his brother was loving and well-liked, recalled spending time with Scott at a recent family oyster roast. “We hadn’t hung out like that in such a long time,” Anthony told The New York Times. “He kept on saying over and over again how great it was.”

I don't see anything about him being a dirtbag or drug dealer. Maybe you can 954?

April 10, 2015 at 8:27 AM

Maybe you have a better media player than I, but when I first saw the taser it was lying on the ground at Scott's feet, between the two of them.

Again, that does not justify what this kop did.

At least two families' lives have been shattered. This adversely affects citizens in that community; and the world, good cops everywhere and just imagine how little kids will look at cops after seeing and hearing about this.

We are all in this together. What one person does affects a whole lot of other people.

THIS time a kop got caught red-handed. We only hope justice will be served THIS time.

Now is the perfect time to open a dialogue about police abuses and training/retraining.

Let's use this incident as a catalyst to move toward an end to these tragedies. It has gone on for far too long.

That's why that cops life is over hahaha that's what he gets !!! He be wearing thongs for some big black dude from here on out !! Reap what you soe cop!!!!

Keep this on your blog Joe. Don't let it be swept under the rug.

Now it's being reported Scott had no active warrant for child support.

So what excuse will they come up with now?

What does this have to do with Salisbury? You are just a cop hater and if you don't want it swept under the rug then do your own blog. Joe doesn't have to cater to idiots like you.

I bet you have a criminal record.

Doesn't anyone else find it ironic that the video only shows the start of the shooting and nothing before that.

Since this video was handed over to the Main Stream Media doesn't anyone else thing the media experts tampered with this tape?

Another cops life ruined by the Liberal Leftwing Nut MSM. The media controls the world.

What? What does it have to do with Salisbury? On a Salisbury blog? With the same type of kops in Salisbury? Yada yada yada.

Sorry creep, this is not going to go away. But you are partially right. I do hate some kops. And you are probably one of them.

Or a teenager with nothing better to do. Same maturity level.

everybody else has seen the dash cam, why haven't you?

Obama Crooked Socialist Bastardo said...

This Dash Cam Video Doesn't Justify the shooting. Cop is guilty of murder, period. He couldn't subdue the Suspect who was running away from him so he shot him, 8 times. How could anyone in their right mind defend this cops actions is mindbogling. Listen, you, trigger happy folks, when someone pisses you off , it still doesn't give you the reason to kill him, understand? Was the Cop's life in danger at any time? NO. Did the Suspect threaten the Cop's life at any time during this incident? NO. So the only question remains is - the Cop guilty of Murder or Manslaughter. Either way he will be going to jail for long time. And he should. Having a badge doesn't give anyone right to shoot and kill someone for running away
