CEO: We're Helping Employees Move Out of Indiana

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff is helping employees who are uncomfortable with Indiana's controversial religious freedom law to transfer out of the state.

Benioff told CNN's Poppy Harlow on Wednesday that several employees have asked for transfers -- and he has agreed, even supplying relocation packages.

"I just got an email on the way to studio from another employee who said, 'look I don't feel comfortable living in this state anymore, you have to move me out,' and I gave him a $50,000 relocation package and said, 'great, you're clear to go.' "

Benioff acknowledged that Salesforce (CRM, Tech30) won't be able to completely pull out of Indiana, given the size of the company's operations there. But the company is helping individual employees who feel oppressed to leave.

Absolute bullcrap!

Why is this company so hostile to Christians?

Do like the left does, boycott them.

Hope those disrespectful bigots don't land here.

First of all, I doubt if this is the real reason these people wanted to move. Second, if it is the real reason, I would not want such a timid, fearful, hyperventilating person working for me.

One group should not be forced to accommodate another - by the government! If they want to sacrifice business from some and gain it from another - that's their choice.

Just like Affirmative Action - disadvantaged get an unfair advantage and those that are actually qualified get shut out! Worse in the Federal government - the entire country has to suffer the incompetence consequences!

I'm quite certain that Indiana doesn't give a wineo's dump and probably welcomes the idea.

Marc Benioff is another anti Christian bigot. Do business with him or his company, and I boycott you. Simple.

Maybe they're afraid of Shiria law, this new law opens the door for it.

Good let them go. Indiana doesn't need them and I hope to hell the terrorists don't come to this state. Yes they are terrorists. No better then Bin Laden, ISIS etc etc. They want to force people to go against their beliefs and convert them to their beliefs.

I think most of this talk about leaving Indiana is just huff-n-puff.

"Look at meee... I'm indignaaant..."

But actually, it's cool if we've found an effective way to rid ourselves of a bunch of liberal fascists.

Ta-ta, weenies.

Too funny! This CEO is a liar just like all democrats. No matter how "large" the company's "presence" is in Indiana the liar could pull out completely if the liar were so bothered by and opposed to the law. The liar is making a gesture to appease the Homonazi's who are so stupid they actually believe he really cares about them. The liar doesn't care about them, the liar cares about money and that is why his company is staying put in Indiana law and all and maybe just maybe one or 2 employees may take up on his offer.

wouldn't expect anything less from a corp headquartered in frisco! wonder if he's gonna pay them enough to move and live there! Interesting to see just how far his social agenda will let him go! lol!

Shiria law would kill all the gays you moron! Spewing a bunch of rhetoric and have no idea what your talking about!

4:21 His social agenda will go only to where it starts hitting him in the wallet. Remember the A & E/ Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame controversy. al-Gayda was demanding Robertson be fired, sponsor's boycotted etc etc. Nothing happened because all these liberal CEO's started feeling it in their wallets and al-Gayda was sent packing and Phil Robertson the cash cow never missed a beat from filming.

They can not go to Russia they hunt gays down like stray dogs. Zero tolerance there. Many countries punish the gay life style.

Can we do this in Maryland? It would get so much nicer here!

This is all a distraction. A bunch of noise for no reason. This law already exists on the books in multiple other states including Illinois. So why all the false anger?

The Colts are in Indiana,as are the Pacers. What, you ask does that have to do with anything?
