Some people are having an issue with KB3035131 screwing up explorer. Uninstall this update if you have issues, they just released quite a few updates including a fix for the Freak flaw.
I have had trouble with the new march 11/15 updates. My computer boots, I enter my log in info and then the screen goes black. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I managed to fix the black screen by uninstalling KB3035131 after much searching to find the control panel. My computer is an ASUS with it's own set up system. I went to user and then to manage accounts and then control panel home. Thanks for the advice. Pamela
I did a Windows update a couple of months ago and it completely wiped out my wireless capability. WTF. Windows or the computer maker could not fix it. They both wanted to charge me for working on my computer. I gave up.

I work in IT and have not seen any problems.
Also the updates vary depending on what version of Windows you are running on.
So far I have not gotten a single call about any update issue.
I updated 3 Win7 computers this AM and no prob so far. Haven't tried Win8 or Win10 yet.
that is why I use MAC - and will never own another windows machine
I've updated Win 7, 7 Pro, 8, 8.1, 8.1 Pro & 10 and all are working without problems.

Pamela try starting it in safe mode. Tap the f8 key as your computer is booting up. Once it boots up remove that update and see if that helps.
