Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford To Hold First Heroin And Opioid Emergency Task Force Regional Summit

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford and the Maryland Heroin and Opioid Emergency Task Force will hold a regional summit for residents of Upper Shore and North East Maryland communities who want to share information about how the heroin and opioid epidemic is affecting their region and provide recommendations on how to address it.

This summit will be held on Tuesday, March 17 in Cecil County and will be the first in a series held throughout the state. Those interested in participating in the upcoming summit as a speaker or wish to submit written testimony should visit http://www.ltgovernor.maryland.gov/. Individuals who are looking to participate are encouraged to register in advance. Day-of registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

I would love to know how they are going to legalize Marijuana doing a Heroin epidemic. It's seems very contradictory. But they will try for sure due to the $$$ to be made in Maryland. They will be sorry for passing this marijuana legalization.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What does a heroin epidemic have to do with it. Their not even remotely close. That's like comparing an aspirin to a Morphin drip.... educate yourself by reading and learning Instead of listening to bad Info. There is plenty of documented research disproving all the lies that have been branded in your head.
