Child shot with arrow, taken to Children's Hospital by helicopter

On Feb. 26, at approximately 11:45 a.m. units from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Valley Lee Court in Prince Frederick, Maryland in reference to an accidental injury involving a juvenile.

Upon arriving on location, units discovered a 12 year old male suffering from a single arrow impaled in his leg. The juvenile victim was alert and talking to police and medical personnel on the scene.

It's time to ban arrows and all other pointy things. And blunt instruments, too, to eliminate bludgeoning. And harsh words, while we're at it.
