President Obama declared Tuesday in his State of the Union address that the “shadow of crisis has passed,” as he touted economic gains and the end of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars under his administration.
The president, in his opening remarks, stressed improvements in employment and even domestic oil production.
While he said many are still having a “hard time,” Obama added: “Tonight, we turn the page.”
In his address, Obama is touting what he calls “middle-class economics” as the engine for growth, and using that argument to push an ambitious – and controversial -- new tax plan.

As long as he and his commie/muslim cohorts are in charge, there will always be a "shadow of crisis" hanging over this country. He is a clear and present danger.
Here's a thought....take the mortgage interest loophole that allows multiple instances of interest deductions for second homes, yachts and RV's and close it to only allow for deduction of a capped portion of the primary residence....put that in with Keystone and the repeal of the medical device tax...and see if POSOTUS is willing to compromise!
SOTU show last night remake of old Disney movie ....PINNOCIO
The crisis is his shadow, and it has not passed.
