Lewes, DE – Troopers are currently on the scene of a fatal crash on John J. Williams Highway (SR24) at Camp Arrowhead Road that occurred around 5:50 a.m.
Preliminary investigation indicates that one person has died as a result of the crash which involves pedestrian. The State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently enroute to the scene and will assume the investigation.
John J. Williams Highway (SR24) is currently closed in the area of Camp Arrowhead Road and commuters are urged to find alternate routes while the investigation continues.
Information regarding the crash will be released later this afternoon.
