Troopers Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Robbery Suspect

Rehoboth Beach, DE - The Delaware State Police is asking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify a male subject that committed a robbery after he pushed an employee in an attempt to flee the store.

The incident took place Wednesday October 8, 2014 around 12:50 p.m. when a white male subject was observed by a 29 year old store employee remove a shirt from a sale display and push it into his pants to conceal it. When the male employee confronted the suspect at the door about the shoplifting, the suspect shoved the victim in the chest and fled out the door. As he fled, he removed the merchandise from his pants and threw it on the floor.

The suspect depicted in the surveillance images is described as a white male approximately 40 years of age, heavy set build, wearing khaki pants and a dark blue zip up fleece shirt.
