MSP: INVESTIGATION PNC BANK ROBBERY FEDERALSBURG MARYLAND

INVESTIGATION PNC BANK ROBBERY FEDERALSBURG MARYLAND

(FEDERALSBURG, MD) – The Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division is assisting Federalsburg Police Department in a bank robbery which occurred at the PNC Bank, located at 3352 Hayman Drive, Federalsburg, Caroline County, Maryland on October 3, 2014 at approximately 3:40 PM.  

            Two black males entered the bank. The first suspect removed an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the teller drawers, while the second suspect maintained a position in the main
lobby near the front door, holding customers and employees at gun point. Both suspects were seen leaving on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

Investigators from the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division Upper Shore Region, Federalsburg Police Department, and the F.B.I are working in conjunction, comparing leads and developing information which ultimately will lead to the identity of these suspects.  PNC Bank has offered a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the suspects arrest and conviction.
