JUST IN: Texas Deputy Tests Negative For Ebola

The sheriff’s deputy who went into the apartment where an Ebola victim was living tested negative for the virus, the Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed Thursday afternoon.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas said in a statement earlier Thursday that Micahel Monning remains in good condition one day after he was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
The hospital said Monning does not have a fever, vomiting or diarrhea.

Officials had said earlier that Monning was hospitalized out of an "abundance of caution" after falling ill Wednesday.

By my count that's still only one who tested positive in the US.
