Easton Police Department Press Release 10-28-14

PRESS RELEASE
October 28, 2014

On October 21, 2014 Dominic O. Sudler, 30, of Centreville, MD was charged on a Grand Jury Indictment with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin and possession with the intent to distribute heroin. Sudler is accused of selling heroin to a confidential informant on July 2, 2014. Sudler was initially held on no bond.

On October 9, 2014 Henderson Sudler, III, 22, of Easton, MD was charged on a Grand Jury Indictment with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin and possession with the intent to distribute heroin. Sudler, III is accused of selling heroin to a confidential informant on July 8, 2014. Sudler, III was initially held on no bond.

On October 10, 2014 Anthony L. Banks, 26, of Easton, MD was charged on a Grand Jury Indictment with possession of crack cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and obstructing and hindering an investigation. On September 24, 2014, officers were conducting surveillance in the area of South Lane and South Locust Street when they observed a drug transaction involving Banks. Officers went to the area to apprehend Banks who fled on foot. Officers retraced Banks' path and located a quantity of crack cocaine that would indicate an intent to distribute. Banks was initially held on no bond.

On October 15, 2014 Eric A. Brice, 29, of Easton, Md was charged on a Grand Jury Indictment with possession of fake CDS, possession with the intent to distribute fake CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. On August 5, 2014 an officer investigated a report of Brice unlawfully taking a motor vehicle. When Brice was located, he was in possession of what appeared to be heroin that would indicate an intent to distribute. The substance was determined to be fake. Brice was initially held on no bond.

Currently in custody in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition to Maryland are Tyler Lee Gerber, 22, of Ebensburg, PA and Tristan M. Butz, 19, of Patton, PA. On July 31, 2014 both were found to be in possession of a large amount of prescriptions drugs. Both have been indicted on the following charges:
Possession with intent to distribute oxycodone
Possession of oxycodone
Possession with intent to distribute alprazolam
Possession of alprazolam
False statement to an officer
Obstructing and hindering a police officer
2 counts of conspiracy to possession with intent to distribute CDS
2 counts of conspiracy to possess CDS
Possession of paraphernalia

The Easton Police Department is continuing to attempt to locate four other persons that have been indicted on felony drug charges.
