A Letter To The Editor: Flu Shots

My husband and I had a few minutes this morning so we decided to get our flu shots. We went to CVA since they were at a convenient location. First thing person asks in a smirk on her face and ask if we knew how to use a computer. Well yes we do and very well. Next my husband started into answering questions: Name, address, phone number, e-mail address and a slew of medical questions. We had enough of the questions not pertaining to a flue shot. Anytime we have had a flu shot no questions were ask. I figured they wanted all this information so they could use/sell so they could call or e-mail and try to sell me something. We just pushed CANCEL. We shall get the shot somewhere else. Suppose to be a one minute clinic.??

Anyone else gone thru this "big brother" questions.

All of that info was to counter what might be the largest lawsuit in US history.Any info they can get from those receiving the shots will contribute to a future defense. Thus far the main focal point seems to be past medical issues and past allergic reactions to shots of any kind.Additional irrelevant questions are presented to conceal the relevant ones.

you question Big Brother but you allow yourself to be injected with a substance that the government says is the flu shot and you trust that it is - a little bit of irony don't you think?

When going somewhere other than my doctor's to get the flu shot, I have always had to answer a lot of questions like that. It helps them to track demographics of who is using their services to get the shot. The only place that I have never been asked a lot of questions is at the drive-thru clinic at the stadium done by PRMC. The medical should be required for health and safety reasons. I understand your concern for email and phone number,if you don't want to enter it just put a fake one in, issue resolved.

Questions I've seen seem ok to me. Did they ask if you own guns? That's when I'd be pissed.

Keep an eye open for flu shots affiliated with PRMC. If I recall correctly, they do flu shots a few times during the season for a donation, $10 I think. Easiest thing is to call them and ask. Also, Cambridge or Pocomoke VA clinics do flu shots as well if you're retired or disability status, worth a call as well.

The flu shot is a scam. They never get the strains right (documented), it contains toxic mercury, which is one of the most dangerous substances to mankind (documented), and the vaccine injury compensation system shields manufacturers from any liability whatsoever (documented).

If that's not enough, the CDC only confirms 3000 actual deaths from the flu. The other 40000 or so deaths are made up because they assume there must be more. We're talking a .000086% - .00012% chance it's going to be you. Why would you allow an ineffective, toxic product into you body with no meaningful upside?

Interesting that a Johns Hopkins study on the flu vaccine's ineffectiveness had to get published in a British journal. I wonder why?

Go ahead and inject that mercury and formaldehyde into yourself. Your government strongly encourages you to join their flock.

I'm 64, have NEVER EVER had a flu vaccine (and don't recall ever having the flu). I will not allow poisonous vaccines to ever be injected into my body.

Best prevention is to eat well and take vitamin supplements to keep a healthy immune system. Always wash hands frequently and never touch any part of your face when out in public, and make every effort to stay away from sick people.

And if, God forbid, I do happen to get sick with the flu I will continue to take very good care of myself while it runs its miserable course of just about 5 days. No poison please.

This year's vaccine also includes a microscopic tracking device.
