Roger Goodell take Note: There’s no pleasing Liberals out to destroy the NFL

Roger Goodell, a good Liberal, might be learning a painful lesson that he’s joined the ranks of Wal*Mart, the Koch brothers, and Republicans as enemies of the Leftist world.

No amount of apologies will ever be enough. Ask Don Imus.

No amount of football players wearing pink will ever placate Feminists calling for his head.

The NFL has become a whipping boy because Leftist are unhappy the Washington Redskins are still called the Washington Redskins. It doesn’t matter to Liberals that poll after poll show that an overwhelming majority of Americans have no problem with the term “Redskins”. The media doesn’t like it and their opinion should carry the day.

My advice to Goodell is to hold firm and tell these sanctimonious Libs to go take a flying leap.

Good for him.

Goodell should not have entered their "arena".

NFL plays football.

It should not have allowed the PC crowd to dictate its agenda.

It is doomed now.

After lying to the entire country about his non knowledge of the Ray Rice punch, he should step down. His crime was as bad as Rice's. A person of some integrity should be in that position. At 44 million a year compensation we should be able to find someone. He has disgraced the NFL.

Rush Limbaugh has been saying this about liberals trying to shut down the NFL for many years.

2:07 Since when is the commissioner of a PRIVATE company responsible for the actions of TEAM employees? Rice plays for the Ravens, under the NFL shield. Goddell doesn't owe the public anything, nothing, in regards to these cases.

By your logic, can we go after Budweiser, Jim Beam, or Jack Daniels, whoever, when people are killed by a drunk driver... on their product? Can we go after McDonalds when someone dies of heart disease?

It's a sport, for entertainment purposes only. They're human, and humans do stupid things every single day. A NFL or MLB player cheats on their wife, you people and the media come out in droves to tarnish their name and reputation. When an elected official, or community leader (pastor, etc) does the same thing... you shut up, they are forgiven and everyone goes about their merry way.

People need to get a life and focus on the people who SHOULD be held accountable for loss of morality and overall hurting their people... and it's not Goddell, or the NFL.

All paid sports should be banned , they teach nothing about life.

3:39 They're not meant to teach about life. They're entertainment, and that's it. By your logic, we should ban movies and all TV, radio, carnivals and amusement parks, video games, and on and on.

Look, if you raise a child who has a sports player, or an actor, or musician as a role model, you failed as a parent. Ray Rice is no different than John Smith, who hit his wife. Adrian Peterson is no different than John Smith, who whipped his child. "But, but, they make millions" So? They're humans, who do get paid a lot of money to do their job, BY A PRIVATE COMPANY.

The goal is entertainment.

It is not supposed to teach the viewer anything.

It is supposed to entertain him / her.

I heard the left defensive tackle for the Saints got caught parking in a Handicap space.

He should be fired! Never to play football again. Ever!

I mean it. Ever!

Dag Nab It.
