Police Continue to Violate Press Freedom in Ferguson

Police thumb their nose at your 'rights".
They KNOW, and not a single State's Attorney or judge will dispute it, that they can (and VERY often do), arrest anyone -- at anytime they want -- for any reason they want, even if they make one up. What happens? The individual(s) who is pissing them off gets handcuffed (they PRAY you resist while standing up for your "rights"), taken away, spends a few hours in the lock-up, and gets released with no charges or a court date that will later be dismissed.
THAT'S how the police handle "dissent".
Not the legal way, of course, but very effective.
Keep cheering. Soon, they will just throw the reporters into a van and they will never be seen again.
Oh right. That could never happen here.
Which is exactly what Jefferson would have said if someone told him something such as the Patriot Act would become LAW in the USA.
Better start paying more attention.

We already know that things are done outside the law by citizens sworn to keep the laws...that is why decent citizens keep a clean nose in an attempt to fly under the radar. You do not want to get the attention of any law enforcement. Apparently young men of color are not getting the memo. I'm not sure we can change this...so... could we teach this in elementary school?

I'm with you lmclain but... on the other hand, the "press" is a bunch of liberal left extremists democrats so, who really cares if they disappear?
But you're correct, cops are thugs that will harass and intimidate any chance they get, and get away with it. That's why some people are beginning to take it to them when they least expect it to make them pay dearly for their transgressions.

Not soon enough.
