We Refuse To Pay The Meters In Salisbury

Even though there's a 2 hour FREE parking lot right there, obviously a lot of people are simply too lazy to walk ten steps.

I've thought for a long time that the refusal to walk a few extra steps is one of the reasons for the decline in the downtown area.

I believe you have a point Queensgirl. I think having to keep tabs on your meter so you don't get a ticket is a major drawback as well. I know I used to frequent some of the antique stores downtown and I was always looking at my watch which took the joy out of a leisurely stroll through the shops. I used to feel like I was on a schedule or something.

That last line was one Johnny Carson used to use when doing his "Carnac the Magnificent" skits. Wish I had a book of these.

you telling your age lol. I could issue a book of these a day around here. as well as tailgating, reckless driving, aggressive driving, inattentive driving, etc.

you know, the laws the cops are SUPPOSED to enforce. all they know how to write are speeding tickets. and no, it's been well over ten years since I had any kind of ticket.

but sometimes I really wish I had a mounted machine gun to blow some of these morons off the road.

road rage anyone?

They are lazy and cheap. If there were no more meters, I would park in front of my business and not have to pay for my monthly parking permit. Leprosy to get rid of the meters. Come on help me out!
