Arlington National Cemetery released the name of the man who died in the cemetery on Friday by an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Robert Terrill, 92, was a retired Air Force colonel. His wife, Helen Burgess Terrill, died in 2009 and was buried in the section of the cemetery where Terrill was found dead.
The cemetery said that it did not know of any similar deaths at Arlington in the past.

So many of the elderly are deciding to end it all. Very depressing!
This has to be the Robert Terrill who was the mayor of South Bethany in the 70's. I knew him and he was a retired Air Force Colonel.
