Remember that one of the keys to staying healthy is avoiding processed foods as much as possible. This means someone, you, your spouse, or someone else, needs to spend regular time in the kitchen.
Once you’re eating non-adulterated foods—foods that are as close to their natural state as possible—then basically everything you eat is a “superfood.” You need nutrients—all of them—and nutrients are found in abundance in fresh, raw foods.

As far as organic goes, don't buy organic at a grocery store/Walmart or big box store. The rule to be followed is Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food. The government (USDA in particular) has allowed the definition of certain terms (organic, natural, free range, etc) to be bastardized in order to benefit the food corporations.
Stay away from factory farmed meats as well-Smithfield, Tyson, and yes Perdue. You are not eating meat in any sense of the word if you consume factory farmed products. It's nothing more than chemical laden, genetically altered globs of flesh which human body was not meant to ingest. Eating this stuff fouls up the molecular components causing all kinds of deadly diseases.
