Dover Air Force Base Placed On Lockdown Due To Reports Of Suspicious Individual

Dover Air Force Base along Route 1 in Dover, Kent County has been placed on lockdown as of 11 a.m. Thursday.

According to the Air Force, a suspicious individual was reported near Building 706.

As a precautionary measure, officials implemented a base lockdown and instructed all personnel to shelter in place.

UPDATE: The All Clear was given at approximately 2:40pm. The lockdown has been lifted.
