The apparent front runner in the state attorney general's race is fighting back against criticism that he's ignoring his day job.
Baltimore County Delegate Jon Cardin responded to a Baltimore Sun review that showed Delegate Jon Cardin missed 75-percent of his votes on the House Ways and Means Committee in this year's legislative session, while he was running for the Democratic nomination for attorney general.
His rivals Senator Brian Frosh and Delegate Aisha Braveboy criticized Cardin, noting that the fate of many bills is determined in the committee, and not on the House floor.

Wonder how many meetings our current council members have missed?
I don't care who missed what. I just don't want representation simply be cause of a family relationship with a former office holder. Unfortornatulay that's the way MD politics is structured.
