Baywater Animal Rescue To Benefit From Powerhouse Gym 5K/10K Run And Dog Walk

Cambridge, MD - Powerhouse Gym in Cambridge is hosting their 2nd Annual Giving Power to the Pets 5K/10K and Family Fun Dog Walk March 15th to benefit homeless pets at Baywater Animal Rescue. The first 75 runners who register at active.com or the Powerhouse Gym in Cambridge will receive a commemorative t-shirt. All participants will receive a goodie bag filled with valuable coupons and freebies. “We’re so grateful to Powerhouse Gym for hosting this event and proud that they value the good work we do for homeless pets,” states Suzette Stitely executive director of the rescue. “We hope all runners and dog owners will turn out for this event to raise much needed funds for medical care. We’ve had dogs needing orthopedic surgery and cats needing expensive diagnostics lately. As a No Kill shelter, we provide whatever veterinary care is needed and it’s a large part of our annual budget,” adds Stitely. The event has an 8:00 am registration with a 9:00 am start at Clearview at Horns Point 5650 Clearview Key Cambridge , MD 21613. The one mile Family Fun Dog Walk ($10) will also be held concurrently at Clearview. For more details, visit www.baywateranimalrescue.org or call Mende and Jamie at 410-901-9991.
