The American Physical Society (APS) has signalled a dramatic turnabout in its position on "climate change" by appointing three notorious climate skeptics to its panel on public affairs (POPA).
They are:
Professor Richard Lindzen, formerly Alfred P Sloan Professor of Meteorology at Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a highly regarded physicist who once described climate change alarmism on The Larry King Show as "mainly just like little kids locking themselves in dark closets to see how much they can scare each other and themselves."

Yeah, i'd tend to believe Lindzen more, if he wasn't employed by the Cato Institute which is an American libertarian think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. It was founded as the Charles Koch Foundation in 1974

It isn't just Lindzen who doubts. But the brain dead like you are quit to condemn with a canned democratic response like Koch Brothers. Did you borrow that from Harry Reid?
And in truth there are a lot more people on the dole for global warming than on the dole against it. These Pseudo-scientists perpetuate this myth so they keep getting their research money.
Yeah, you're right 1:12, Lindzen is one of 3% who doubt, and actually he doesn't even doubt, he just doesn't consider climate change catastrophic. Dr. Lindzen agrees that carbon dioxide is a greenhosue gas, calling people who dispute that point "nutty".

Of course, the climate changes. I'm just sick and tired of morons like you that promulgate the theory that man is largely responsible for climate change and that this is all settled science. I know what Lindzen believes. The alarmist models have been grossly wrong.
I don't know where you got your 3% figure, but I highly doubt it. Scientists worth their salt welcome intelligent debate. The fact that this debate is being stymied by the global warming fanatics speaks volumes.
6:07, the plants inside my home love the carbon dioxide I exhale while providing me with more oxygen thanks. The 97.1% number is from the climate etc blog run by scientists interested in intelligent debate. What's your contribution to moving forward with an enlightening discussion other than to call someone a moron. Yeah, Lindzen believes that clouds in the upper atmosphere have a cooling effect, thus negating mankind's contribution.

My frustration...Call it blowback from a a conservative (libertarian actually) who is just sick and tired of policies that are crippling the USA. Unfortunately, there are 1.5 billion Chinese people (and plenty of other peoples) that can and will burn anything and everything for energy.

Look, I understand that our very Existence on the planet could be at stake. The consequences are enormous. The issue should be discussed intelligently. But when I see bs like the LA times say they won't publish anything from someone that doesn't support their pov, it burns me up.
