The family, who asked to remain anonymous, is moving to Pittsburgh and a local bank is foreclosing on their home of 21 years in Ohio. However, the bank had nothing to do with emptying the Ohio house and changing the locks – the new “owner” did that.
The situation has escalated into an all out legal battle, with the man saying he has the documents to prove he’s the rightful owner of the family’s home.

It's called Right Of Adverse Possession and it's legal. If occupy a property openly and notoriously for a certain period of time it becomes yours if nobody objects. It usually has to be something like seven or ten years, though.

Changing the topic slightly,why have all of the real estate infomercials stopped? Several years ago they would be on for hours.Each would have their own strategy for getting rich in real estate.Unless I'm watching the wrong channels I haven't seen one in a long time.
