An Oklahoma woman is facing charges after police say she admitted to arming her minor son with a 9 mm handgun because he “needed protection from rival gangs.”
Authorities say Dena Plunkett, 48, admitted “matter-of-factly” that she provided her underage son with the firearm and said that even though she knew it was illegal, “he is always allowed to carry it,”according to KWTV.

I doubt it. We need guns because of him and his culture as well as soft hearted liberals like you.
I didn't force him to join a gang.
239 How is it our fault ?? we did not plant the seed to bring this boy in to this world. parents need to raise there children. I raised mind time for them to raise they're s. If they want to be trash as parents and say trash then so be it, don't put the burden on the parents who raise there children right.
But he needs a gun for his protection. Why should he be defenseless? He lives in a crappy neighborhood and has to deal with violence every day. If anyone has a legitimate need for a handgun isn't it him?
4:26, It was sarcasm. Did you vote for Obama?
426, because of your lack of spelling and grammar errors, I really cannot comprehend your point.
Are you opposed or in agreement of her arming her son for gang warfare?
Sorry, the definition of "Raising them right"seems to differ from that of my neighborhood.
And, somehow, you got a comment from someone who "seems" to understand your assessment.
Is "raising them right" in line with arming your child gang banger for protection against the other gangs?
Maybe I was brought up wrong...
Headline says kid is gang member; didn't read link.

Mebbe junior can smuggle Mom a piece when she's in the jug.
I thought a straw purchase was a felony.
i bought a bale of straw at harris' market, is that straw purchase a felony? with the commiecrat's in charge it probably is! so come and get me copper!!
6:25 It is, and should be enforced...always. Regardless of whether "he needs one", or not, we can't be up in arms over losing 2nd amendment rights, and allow kids to carry. I wouldn't trust that he has been properly trained, and knows the responsibility that comes with a firearm.
