yes, that was football!! Millionaires play today and have to stay pretty for their fans, plus they don't know how to handle the dollars other than buying drugs.... SAD!
These were the great days for sure... the era before "in the grasp" (you play on a football team, you get hit and tackled); dancing like a sissy in the end zone (can you imagine what Lombardi or Eubank would do to a player that did that!?); "the ground causing a fumble" (the ground doesn't cause the fumble - it's the way you put the guy ON the ground that does!); etc., etc., etc.
