I think the automatic alarms, odor and smoke investigations, "hazardous conditions", and many other non-fire calls are just emergency runs to Sonic, Giant, Wawa, Rita's and other numerous fast food joints. And why do you see fire trucks from one end of the city at fast food joints at the other? Station 1 at Chic Filet, Station 2 down past the college. Next you will see the fireboat at Thrashers in OC when the farmin get a hankering for fries. Our tax dollars at work.

anonymous 11:16, It may be ridiculous to you but WHO ELSE has EVER provided a service in which each and every daily call was provided for accountability, proving the SFD is way over staffed and way over budget.
Salisbury News provides a SERVICE to the Eastern Shore in which the MSM REFUSES to provide. We don't BEND to people like you who hope to influence others into thinking these Posts and comments are just ridiculous.
