Republicans in the House of Representatives have scheduled impeachment proceedings against President Obama, claiming his inability to halt the federal government shutdown makes him unfit for office.
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann introduced a resolution to impeach Obama this morning and referred the matter to the House Judiciary Committee. Senior aides close to judiciary chairman Bob Goodlatte say hearings will begin Thursday.
"I think it's high time President Obama be held accountable for his crimes," explains Bachmann. "For two weeks now, vital government services have been disrupted, federal workers have gone without pay and national memorials have been closed, all because of the president's refusal to negotiate over Obamacare.

It's all been downhill every since Walter Cronkite retired.
It's about damned time someone grew a pair and started these proceedings. Sad though, that the only person to grow a set is a woman. Doesn't say much for her male counterparts.

Every single elected official should be fired... not just the president. They all need to be held accountable, because that's how the world works. These clowns wouldn't last 1 minute in the private sector.

Seriously...the best thing they have is that he won't negotiate? How about the IRS? Benghazi? His stolen social security number? His forged birth certificate? There are plenty of legit things to impeach him on, and they choose something that really isn't impeachable. Seems like a set up, doesn't it?
At least they're trying to hold B.O. accountable. This is much more than going along to get along; trying to keep your position in congress; appeasing everyone and losing respect for yourself and your nation.
The liberals, dems and rinos all need to be wiped out this election cycle. We must elect more true conservative Republicans.
