Americans Just Want To Get High

For the first time (in the 44 years of polling), the majority of Americans favor legalizing marijuana. As Gallup notes, from a low of 12% in favor in 1969, the latest poll shows a clear majority (58%) now believe the drug should be made legal.

I have no interest in getting high, but I do not believe that someone should have their life ruined with a jail sentence for possession. However if someone is selling to children, then the law should treat them harshly. Kinda like how we handle alcohol.
