Traffic On Chesapeake Bay Bridge Reopens After Earlier Fire

WASHINGTON - Lanes reopen in both directions on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge after an earlier fire caused traffic to stop Sunday evening.

WTOP has received reports that construction materials are burning underneath the bridge, sending a plume of smoke into the sky.

A Maryland Transportation Authority official said she had no information about what caused the fire or what was burning.

I'm sure they just lit themselves. Probably just another homeless Obama voter just trying to stay warm for the night. But under O'Malley no one will be held responsible for this because it was a government contract.

Spontaneous combustion could have caused it.

This is not a joke. The next story you all will hear is, how a bunch of vehicles plummet off the bridge into the water. Are you dummies going to blame that on Obama too? Don't you people realized how dangerous that bridge is. I'm so GLAD I left the eastern shore and the state of Maryland. This particular bridge is very dangerous.
