‘TRULY AMAZING’: HERE’S WHAT ENDED UP HAPPENING WITH KIRK CAMERON’S NEW MOVIE ABOUT GOD, SUFFERING AND THE BIBLE

Actor and producer Kirk Cameron’s one-night only showing of “Unstoppable” lived up to its name earlier this week when the documentary, which was shown in 700 theaters across the nation, brought in a stunning $2 million in sales.

When the numbers are officially in and solidified, the film will likely rank first or second for Tuesday night revenue, either beating — or coming close to — Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal’s new movie, “Prisoner.”

By all accounts, the faith-based documentary was a major success. And Cameron excitedly conveyed this sentiment to TheBlaze this week.

We saw it at the Sun and Surf theater in OC. Salisbury refused to show it. The theater was pretty full. Hopefully the movie industry will learn that there are people who want to see movies with Christian themes. It was a blessing to be there!

you would never know from listening to the MSM how strong christianity still is in the US. it is good to hear because that is what will save this great nation not these so called leaders we have in the white house, congress and annapolis

This guy didn't do this film out for some "higher" calling, or to answer any questions. He did it to make money. He'll falsely claim persecution, and the lemmings will eat it up It's a no-brainer on his part. He'll make tons of money. Good for him. You know what they say about a sucker and his money....

True 7:53.It was indeed a blessing to be there.More of an influence on me than The Passion of The Christ, but that's just me.

753 and 813, Tyler Perry built a huge following and quite an expensive company from the bottom up using the same themes. The man was literally selling his films out of his trunk and now he is a multi millionaire. There is a huge market out there for religious based material and it is out in the open. I'm all for supporting it, no need to embellish by acting as if anti-christians abound at every corner.

yes good for him for making money. there is no sin in making money. the point is the message is making and how he uses his money. if you listen to the msm you would think that christianity is dying

To 9:30 and 9:55 - Kirk needs to earn $$$ to feed, clothe, and shelter his family just like everyone else in the world does.
You forgot to mention how the substantial amount of $$$ Kirk contributes towards charitable causes and to help the needy. How much $$$ do you guys contribute? My bet is a Big Fat ZERO.

You miss the point. Cameron is a multi millionaire. He doesn't "need" to earn more money. He's found that milking the religious folks is easy money... just act persecuted and the cash registers go off the charts.

It also seems that you are privy to Mr. Camerons finances... pray tell... what percentage of his income goes to which specific charities?

Maybe Kirk Cameron isn't milking anyone. He is trying to get a good message across and trying to help people in this pitiful country have better lives . Think about the movie Fireproof he was in and how many failing marriages were helped because of it!!!

11:44 i am sure he gives more than you do.

it is ok to be christian in a country founded on christian principal and it is christian principals that will save this country so folks like you have the right to express your opinion. just remember that we to have the right to express OUR opinion without being called every name in the book.

Sounds like YOU are privy to his finances as well since you KNOW he is rich enough not to "need" any more money.

How you got to decide who is rich or rich enough not to need more money is beyond me. Perhaps you could explain...logically.

Quick Google search reveals:Camerons net worth the be around 20 million dollars. That certainly doesn't sound like a guy who "needs" for much of anything. I don't think anyone gets to decide what is too rich, but certainly one can make a call on "need"... now can't we?

I'm still waiting on that percentage to charity... does anyone have that number? An assertion was made, I call for it to be backed up.

Again, how do you know what his needs, or anyone's, are? Sounds like you lean towards socialism like the liar in chief.
