In a amicus brief filed in support of the American Civil Liberties Union's lawsuit against the National Security Agency's bulk collection of U.S. phone records, Sensenbrenner argues that the government has gone far beyond what the legislation authorizes.

You let them "open the door" in your hysterical support of "anti-terrorism". Now, they driving tanks through the front door and someone thinks they might have went too far? Probably the same feelings that German citizens felt in the winter of 1944 --- "I think we might have made a big mistake." Too late for them. Too late for us....
