We all thought Libya had moved on – it has, but into lawlessness and ruin
Libya has plunged unnoticed into its worst political and economic crisis since the defeat of Gaddafi

A little under two years ago, Philip Hammond, the Defence Secretary, urged British businessmen to begin “packing their suitcases” and to fly to Libya to share in the reconstruction of the country and exploit an anticipated boom in natural resources.
Yet now Libya has almost entirely stopped producing oil as the government loses control of much of the country to militia fighters.

That was the plan, destabilization just like Syria. Kaddafi was no angel, but every citizen under Kaddafi went to college for free and every married couple received a house and cash.

And thats the Obama plan for Syria too, Egypt was supposed to suffer the same fate but the people took back their country. Never thought i would see the day that I trust Putin and the Egyptian people more than the POTUS.

Why is it you guys expect a country to underwent civil war to turn around on a dime. 10 years, hundreds of billions of US dollars, and 100k+ troops STILL hasn't turned Iraq around.
