Perversion Of Justice

An Albuquerque, New Mexico dad who found a naked prowler peering into his young daughter's room will face charges after seriously beating the peeping tom.
Police say Emilio Chavez III found 29-year-old Dylan Maho naked and making noises near a little girl's window when he chose to exact vigilante justice and beat Maho so badly he was taken to the hospital.

While both men could be convicted of felonies, Chavez could potentially get a longer sentence for what he did to the intruder.

He shouldn't be charged at all for defending his family.....that's part of what's wrong in this country right now.....criminals have too many rights...this one was caught in the act.....

Most of us haven't gotten over the recent case where a guy got 30 days in jail for raping a young girl (not sure of her age). She later committed suicide, but before his actual sentencing. The court system has gone crazy.

She was 14....however the judge felt she acted older than her actual age. He should be out of a job. I wonder if she was 19 and was caught drinking if he would have used the same excuse.

Dad should have dragged him across the threshold.

Should have NEVER called the police. Drag him into the house. Lock all doors. Pull curtains closed. Teach him some new lessons. BUT -- he called the police and now might get life in prison. Protectin' and servin', baby....

Guy plea bargined and would have served no time if he completed a treatment program. He did not complete the program because he lied about contact with minors and an affair with an adult girlfriend. The Judge gave him 30 days for his failure in the program while requiring he complete a new program. He could get years if he fails this time.

In this case the man should get no time it should be dismissed.
