WASHINGTON -- Texas Gov. Rick Perry is messin' with Maryland.
In commercials set to begin airing in the D.C. region this week, Perry targets businesses and families with a message of lower taxes.
"When you grow tired of Maryland taxes squeezing every dime out of your business, think Texas, where we've created more jobs than all the other states combined," Perry, a Republican, says in the commercial.
He describes the Lone Star State as a place with limited government, low taxes and a fair legal system.

Gov Perry hit the head on the nail. Omalley has no record to run on but the high taxes he has created. Alot of people are moving to different parts of the US. I think the only people that want to move to Maryland are liberal idiots.
1240 no, only people looking for a free ride will move here.
"...and a fair legal system."
Tell that to the residents of West, Texas, Rick.
o'taxie could really learn some economic lessons from Texas, and Governor Perry.
O'Malley said: "Maryland has had the No. 1 public schools in the nation for five years in a row,"
Can someone explain what this really means? I get sick and tired of Chuck Cook bragging about that same crap all the time.
